Greetings everyone! We would have updated our site two days ago, however, we had technical problems with the hotel internet access in our room. But now the problems are solved and we will be able to post pics and info about our quest. We arrived on time and the flight was excellent. I have flown Virgin Airlines every time I have gone to the UK and the service has always been top notch, this time was no different. First thing we noticed was how clean the air is here once we got into the countryside, in comparison to greater Los Angeles. We spent the1st day here recovering from flight jet lag. Day two it rained all day but we still managed to get into a few crop circles. Day three we met several folks at a popular "Crop Circle Hunter" meeting place. We then set out to find and investigate several of the latest formations. We were not disappointed and were treated to some extremely beautiful, complex designs. It appears the phenomenon is alive and well. |

We are going to capture a lot more of the ground detail of the circles as this has been lacking in most, if not all mainstream commercial productions and presentations on the subject. The photo on the left shows what's called a "birds nest" and was located in the center of one of the formations we saw today. It was one of 6 birds nests found in the same formation. We have already taken well over 100 shots and will be posting a few of the them as we capture them from day to day.

This is one circle out of many that was part of one particular formation. Notice how it is layered with the main swirl of wheat, making up the circle and the single wheat stalks fanning out to form that beautiful center spoke effect. Try that with a garden roller or a board and string! See you tomorrow with aerial shots! " Ern and Annie |
